Ujpest vs Sevilla preview, free betting tips and prediction: Will pride inspire a heroic performance from the Hungarian minnows?

It’s only natural for the early stages of the Europa League to present mismatches. That’s what a tie pitting Ujpest of Hungary against La Liga giants Sevilla could be called. It also proved to be that way in the first leg with Sevilla strolling to a 4-0 win, aided in part by the capitulation of their nervous opponents who went down to ten men with more than an hour to play.
The gulf in class was clear and nobody could really blame them for being daunted by the star power of their opponents. Jesus Navas and Wissam Ben Yedder were among the scorers.
Will the second leg follow a similar pattern? Or will Ujpest, playing for pride, pull off a famous result to somewhat redeem themselves? They overturned a 3-1 deficit in the last round with a thumping 4-0 win of their own, shocking Azerbaijani side Neftci.
And Sevilla were an inconsistent mess last season, pulling off huge results one week before falling to baffling defeats the next. Even so, it seems unlikely that they would underperform to the extent that Ujpest could win. It’s not inconceivable for the home side to take an early lead that shocks Sevilla into action though.
Sevilla have no injury concerns ahead of the game. They’re still without a few key players who competed at the World Cup, chief among them Ever Banega and Steven N’Zonzi.
Defender Branko Pauljevic will be missing for the second leg after his dismissal in the reverse fixture
