Chelsea to win and BTTS @ 16/5 with Betfair

Chelsea travel to the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday to face an Arsenal side still seething from a late penalty award from Mike Dean that cost them three points at West Brom on Sunday. The Gunners have lost just once at home all season, and it will undoubtedly a tough game for the Blues.

Despite a 3-0 loss there last season, Antonio Conte has good memories of the Emirates. That defeat forced him into a change of approach that many people believe sent Chelsea on the road to a fifth Premier League crown.

But the Italian will want to avenge that poor performance, and they have a good chance of doing that.

Form

The penalty decision at the Hawthorns cost Arsenal back-to-back wins over the festive period. Overall, this season has been mixed as always for Arsene Wenger, but only Manchester United have so far beaten them on their own ground. Liverpool came close before Christmas, but the Gunners produced a great comeback.

Chelsea have been functional if not spectacular over the last few games, beating the likes of Brighton and Southampton in a solid fashion. They did flex their muscles against Stoke on Saturday, though, winning 5-0 to briefly overtake Manchester United in second, but for the Red Devils’ win over Everton on New Year’s Day.

Team News

Aaron Ramsey remains on the sidelines for Arsenal, while Sead Kolasinac was substituted in the first half at West Brom and is doubtful.

Chelsea's Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard - Free Bets UK
Speculation over Eden Hazard’s future is rife amid Real Madrid interest; he was an unused substitute against Stoke and it will be interesting to see if he starts at the Emirates Stadium. Danny Drinkwater could keep his place after a goal and impressive display at the weekend; Pedro will likely stand in for Hazard in the event he doesn’t return.
